Research at Yaba College of Technology

 

Yaba College of Technology is internationally known for the quality and diversity of its research, with over 1,220 staff and 16,400 students who engage in one form of research work or the other. The College's position as a center of excellence is enhanced by the ongoing development of research center, and collaboration with international academic and industrial partners. Yaba College of Technology is also leading in terms of technology and implements the results of its research work.

Explore Research Findings     

The Rector, Yaba College of Technology, Mr Olubunmi Owoso, encourages the academic staff of the institution to explore the use of research findings in order to advance the technological and economic development of the nation.

This stride involved the training of staff of the College in development programmes such as research writing assessment, grading of national and international publications.

Such trainings as this; amidst several others were targeted at ensuring that the College retains its position as a center of excellence and a role model to other institutions of learning thereby making laudable contribution to national development.

 News and Events

The College is currently carrying out a computerization project that will enable all staff of the College to communicate amongst themselves via an intranet. The project at completion will also afford students the opportunity to check their result online, do school fees payment as well as online registration.
