ENTRY REQUIREMENTS/PROGRAMMES INTO BUSINESS EDUCATION

UME CANDIDATES (4 years Full Time) in addition to the general University entry requirement, applicants must possess one of the following qualifications.

(a)      GCE/SSC/NECO/NABTEB/WAEC with credit passes in five subjects, in English Language, Mathematics and any other three subjects i.e. Accounting, Economics, Commerce, Shorthand, and Typewriting: one science subject is not more than two sittings.

(b)      Direct Entry (3 years Full Time)

(i)       NCE candidate must posses at least a pass in Business Education. Puls credit in English Language and Mathematics.

(ii)      Holders of ND in Secretarial Studies, Business Administration, Marketing, Accounting, Insurance plus Credit in English Language and Mathematics.

(iii)      ‘A’ Level, WACE/GCE in Business courses such as Economics, Commerce, Accounting, Business Management, with credit in English Language and Mathematics.

(iv)      NSEC or FTCA (National Secretarial Examination, Certificate), Advanced RSA. Any of the above plus credit in English Language and Mathematics.

(v)         HND, NTTC (national Technical Teachers Certificate) with at least lower credit from accredited institutions, plus Credit in English Language and Mathematics.
