How do I become a student?

To become a Full Time student, a prospective student must undergo the Polytechnic Entrance Examination organized by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board- JAMB. On obtaining the required score (i.e. cut-off mark) for the course of study in view, an offer of provisional admission is then given. See the various Schools, Departments' Listing and the Course Requirements for each Course.

The following are five easy steps that you need to take to apply for a place as a Part-time, ND, HND, PGD or TTTP Student of the College:

1. Choose the desired programme of study for which you have necessary entrance qualifications.
2. Pay the required application fee to the bank. 
3. Complete the application form online by logging on to www.yabatech.edu.ng.
4. Attach the necessary documentary evidence and appropriate application fee.
5. Submit the application form within the submission deadline stated.
