REGISTRATION PROCEDURE FOR 2007/2008 ACADEMIC SESSION

 

A.         For Fresh Students Only

  1. Go to http://www.yabatech.edu.ng
  2. Click on the YABA COLLEGE OF TECHNOLOGY PORTAL link
  3. Click on the ‘Admissions’ Tab
  4. From the sub-Tabs click on ‘Clearance’
  5. Put in your application number in the “Application No. / Examination No” field and the “PIN No” Field and click on submit.
  6. Verify the information displayed including your picture
  7. Correct the information if necessary (If at any time it is discovered that the information you provided in your personal data form is false or incomplete, your admission will be withdrawn and you may be expelled)
  8. When entering your post primary examination (SSCE and or ND) results, please be sure to enter only subjects that you passed.
  9. Upload CLEAR scanned copies of your clearance documents. (SSCE/ND result, Birth Certificate/Sworn Affidavit, IT Letter - HND only, 2 Reference Letters, Testimonial from last school).
  10. Before submitting the form you will be asked to confirm what you are about to submit.
  11. Read carefully to see that all the required fields are correctly filled
  12. Then submit the form.
  13. Print the clearance form.
  14. Present clearance form to Registration officer in the Academic Registry for approval.
  15. Collect payment advice.

B.     STEP BY STEP ON HOW TO UPDATE YOUR FEE PAYMENT ONLINE (All Students)

 

STEP 1

Obtain your School Fee Access Code PIN from any Zenith Bank Branch close to you.

STEP 2
Log on to http://www.yabatech.edu.ng

Click on the YABA COLLEGE OF TECHNOLOGY PORTAL link and type in your Screening Application Form Number in (case of new students) as both the User Name and Password; and Matriculation Number (in case of returning students) as user name.

 

Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on ‘I Agree’ at the bottom of the page (New Students only).


 

 

STEP 3
A Fee Payment web page will be displayed, click on ‘pay your fee’ (on the top right corner of the page) to select your fee items.


STEP 4
Click on ‘Add Selected Items to my Pay list’
Select the fee items that you want to pay for (i.e. School fee).

 

STEP 5

Click on “Proceed” and wait for the PIN confirmation page.
Select “PIN” mode of payment and click ‘Pay Now’

“WARNING” Please read the “Warning Instructions” displayed before you enter the PIN Number.

STEP 6

At the “Payment Information (PIN)” page, carefully enter your PIN number (obtained from the bank) and click ‘Pay now’ and wait for the payment confirmation page.

 
Click ‘Finish’

Please note that once your payment is successful, you will be taken directly to your personalised school portal page and you are required to change your password and update your personal details before you do anything else on the portal.

STEP 7

To change your password
Type in the old password i.e. your screening application number (for new students) Choose a new password and click on ‘update’.

You will not be allowed to proceed beyond this point if you do not change your default password, this is for security reasons.

C.      Registration of Courses

To register your courses you must have been cleared, paid your fees, obtained a matriculation number.

  1. Click on the Registration Tab
  2. You should see the course you are supposed to take already outlined for you.
  3. Check to ensure that the total number of course units registered is not below the minimum of 16 and above the maximum of 27 for Full Time.
  4. If your courses are not there, you can add them by first searching for them and then adding them.
  5. When you are sure your courses are complete click on the submit button
  6. Print the course registration form.
  7. Go to departmental Registration officer for clearance of courses registered.
  8. Submit all registration forms printout to the School Officer.
