PROCEDURES & GUIDELINES FOR PAYMENT OF FEES AND REGISTRATION

For Fresh Students Only


STEP 1

  1. Check name on Admission list in the School/Department
  2. Pay the prescribe acceptance fee of N7,500 by bank draft obtained from any of the Nigerian Commercial banks payable to Yaba College of Technology, Lagos.
  3. Submit to Student Account Section of Bursary unit and obtain a receipt.
  4. Visit the Admission Department of Registry in room AA 24 to locate your screening officer
  5. Present two copies of college receipt obtained at the Bursary (original & photocopy) to the screening officer in admissions office room AA 24, who will endorse the original and return it to you, and retain the duplicate.
  6. Present original and photocopy of SSCE/NABTEB/ND results.
  7. Obtain clearance from the officer.

STEP 2 (PAYMENT OF SCHOOL FEES)

  1. Obtain bank teller from the Bursary Unit for payment of School fees.
  2. Return the teller to the Bursary Unit to obtain college receipt.

STEP 3 (REGISTRATION PROCEDURE)

(Before you can register, you must have been cleared)

  1. Go to http://www.yabatech.edu.ng
  2. Log on to the Students' Portal by clicking on “Click here to go to the Students' Portal”
  3. Click on “Fresh & Returning Students' Log-in”
  4. Enter your Application Number/Jamb Registration Number as your user name and your surname (in small letters) as your password.
  5. Click on "Print Payment Advice"
  6. Click on "Print Admission Letter"
  7. Click on "Go to Portal"
  8. Click on “Fee payment”
  9. Print your payment receipt and wait for 24 hours.
  10. Sign in again to the portal and click on “Course Registration”.
  11. Click on “All Freshers without Matric Number”
  12. Enter your Application Number and Surname.
  13. Your matriculation number will be displayed.
  14. Click on “Course Registration”.
  15. Select the Session, Semester and Class.
  16. Click on “Load Semester Courses”.
  17. Select your course from the list of courses.
  18. Click on “preview course registration”.
  19. Click on “submit course registration”.
  20. Print out your course form.

STEP 4

Go to the School officer, obtain a student file jacket, insert the following documents and submit to him/her

  1. Evidence of payment of School fees.
  2. SSCE/NABTEB (original & photocopy)
  3. Testimonial from former school
  4. Two (2) reference letters
  5. 10 passport size photographs
  6. One postsize photograph (each) of the new student and his parents or guardian
  7. Birth Certificate/Sworn Declaration of Age (Original and Photocopies)
