Oyeranmi Adigun (PhD) is the 8th and current Director, Centre for Information Technology and Management, Yaba College of Technology. Adigun holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Ibadan, a Master degree in Business Administration from University of Ilorin, a Master’s degree of Computer Science from University of Lagos, a Master of Philosophy from Universite de Nancy 2 Nancy, France, and a PhD in Computer Science from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology Ogbomoso, Oyo State, Nigeria. A widely travelled researcher, academic and administrator, he spent his early career life as Lecturer at Kwara State Polytechnic Ilorin, Kwara state. At Yaba College of Technology, Adigun was a two-term Head of Department (2004-2008); Dean of the School of Technology (2011-2014). He is external moderators to Computer Professional Council of Nigeria, various Federal and State Polytechnics in Nigeria and facilitator to National Open University of Nigeria. He has served severally as member of accreditation panel to some Polytechnics and University (including Covenant University Ota, Nigeria), Adigun is a CPN Registered member and member Nigeria Computer Society and other professional bodies. He has published more than 38 research papers in leading International peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings. He is reviewers of the British Journal of Science and Technology, American Journal of Mathematical and Computer Modeling, Asian Journal Current Research and of several other International and National Journals. Adigun is a recipient of various awards and scholarships including French scholarship to study M.Phil. Information Science Techniques and Economic Intelligence 2002 -2003 and award of outstanding performance by Yaba College of Technology 2012. His current research interests span the fields of pattern recognition, machine learning and medical image analysis.
