Profile
Dr. Olufemi E. Akinsola graduated from Yaba College of Technology in 1989 with Upper
Credit in HND Building, University of Lagos in 1992 with 2 nd Class Upper in B.Sc. Building
, and University of Lagos (1993) in M.Sc. Construction Management. He obtained his PhD in
Building in 2018 from the same University of Lagos. He is a fellow of Nigerian Institute of
Building (NIOB) and is registered with the Council of Registered Builders of Nigeria
(CORBON). Dr. O.E Akinsola was a Head of Department of Building Technology from 2017
to 2019.He is an astute scholar who has more than 18 journal articles published locally and
internationally. He has presented more than 16 papers at both local and international
conferences.Dr. O.E Akinsola was the Research and Development(R&D) Secretary of the
Nigerian Institute of Building between 2007-2009 and Honorary Secretary between 2005-
2007.He is currently the director, Applied Research and Technological Innovation(ARTI)
unit of Yaba College of Technology.
