Yabatech UNEVOC Centre cordially invite you to this year’s United Nations World Youth Skills Day (WYSD) celebration coming up on Monday, July 15, 2019.

The United Nations General Assembly designated July 15 of every year as World Youth Skills Day. As a UNEVOC Centre, we will be joining other members of the UNEVOC Network and UN System worldwide to commemorate the day for youth skills development. This year’s event will include a business pitch, debate, poetry, dance drama, panel session and various youth activities to encourage youth skills development.

World Youth Skills Day provides a platform for the youth to embrace entrepreneurship and learning, to promote the world of work through TVET (Technical and Vocational Education and Training). The event over the years has become a networking platform for icons, celebrities, industry experts, entrepreneurs, business executives and more, who are passionate about youth skills development in Nigeria and beyond.
