Panafstrag Donates Books To Yabatech

The Pan African Strategic and Policy Research Group (PANAFSTRAG), recently donated resourceful books to Yaba College of Technology (Yabatech), as a way of giving back to the school and society at large.
PANAFSTRAG is a Non-Governmental Organization with interest in research on issues affecting Africa and the diaspora, which cut across cultural, religious, political, educational and other related issues.
The PANAFSTRAG’s program coordinator, Mrs. Arionla Bello who led the team disclosed that the donation comprises of copies of their publications over the years in area of Security, Peace keeping, Elections and Good Governance, which will be a good reading research area for students in the field of Liberal Arts.
She presented 110 books to the College on behalf of the PANAFSTRAG’s Executive Secretary, Major General (Rtd) Ishola Williams, as the organization contribution to the liberal education of Nigerian youths.
The donated books are Civil Society and Ethnic Conflict Management in Nigeria, edited by T. Imobighe, 5 copies, Small Arms & Light Weapons Proliferation and Collection in the Niger Delta, Nigeria, edited by A. Sesay & A.T. Simbine, 20 copies, Civil Wars, Child Soldiers and Post Conflict Peace Building in West Africa, edited by A. Sesay, 20 copies, Election Violence in Nigeria, edited by M. Ladan & A. Kiru, 5 copies, Civil Society, Good Governance and Challenges of Regional Security in West Africa, edited by R.A. Akindele, 5 copies, Human Trafficking & Economic Crimes Across Nigeria’s Intl Borders, edited by B.M. Barkindo & A. Lipede, 20 copies, Harmonization of Gun Control Laws in 9 ECOWAS Countries, edited by I. Williams, H. Cisse, N. Obasi, N. Gomes, N. Malu, 10 copies, Enforcement of Electoral Laws & Reduction of Electoral Violence in Nigeria, edited by N. Malu & N. Ogbu, 20 copies, and Lesson learned from the Programme for Coordination & Assistance for Security & Development (PCASED), edited by I. Williams, H. Cisse, N. Obasi, N. Gomes, N. Malu, 5 copies.
The Deputy Rector Administration, Dr. Titilayo Ukabam who received the books on behalf of the Rector, Engr. Obafemi Omokungbe thanked PANAFSTRAG for the kind gesture, and assured that the books will be put in good use.
