Old Mutual Assurance Donates Cleaning Materials To Yabatech

In line with its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Old Mutual Nigeria Life Assurance Company Limited donated cleaning materials to Yaba College of Technology (Yabatech). The company as part of its contribution to the cleanliness the College cleaned the surrounding area of the Administrative building; the exercise was coordinated and supervised by work & services unit of the institution.
The 9 man team of Old Mutual Nigeria led by the Marketing Executive, Mrs. Alero Ladipo stated that her company being an international firm and one of the oldest insurance company in Nigeria decided to partner with Yabatech which is the oldest institution in Nigeria that has academically impacted the lives of students positively.
Alero noted that Old Mutual is delighted to associate with Yabatech for synergy, which has been identified as the environment where the company can make changes, and contribute its own quota to the institution development. She commended the level of cleanliness in the College environment.
The items donated to Yabatech are: 5 pieces of 240 Litre Waste Bins, 5 pieces of Safety Rubber Boots, 5 pieces of Safety Face Masks, 10 pieces of Safety Gloves and Corporate gift items.
The Polytechnic Librarian, Mrs. Taye Adebowale who received the gifts on behalf of the Rector, Engr. Obafemi Omokungbe said the Management of the College is eternally grateful to Old Mutual for chosen Yabatech out of numerous institutions in Nigeria for the kind gesture, she therefore like Oliver Twist requested for more of the gesture from Old Mutual.
